Girly Back to school makeup tutorial

.

Good Morning Beauties,

How are you girls? am always super excited when am posting, videoing, editing or thinking anything for you guys :) BIG NEWS FOR ME: been requested the first makeup tutorial. yaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

A back to school makeup by Sabreena D. on www.beautylish.com
Of course this is also for all of you lovelies, waking up in the morning, getting ready for a long day, of studying, concentrating, information and what not :D so the least I can do for you hard working students :D is to help you do it in glamour.

you owe to look pretty while studying, hahaha. That could also help with grabbing the attention of that cute guy, sitting almost next to you in class :D

A LINK TO THE TUTORIAL AT THE END OF THIS POST

Six years ago, when I was a High school senior, I never really wore makeup to school. It wasn't allowed (well, as long as the teachers can't see it, then you are on the safe side)

All I would really do is apply some concealer under & above my eyes, a purple eyeliner (to bring out my hazel eyes), a lip balm and a little bit of a matte blush.

For this look, I have concentrated on a dewy/fresh face (no foundation or a tinted moisturizer). softly defined cheeks, doll-like eyes and sexy pout.

sorry for the bad photo, had lighting issues, lol

you can definitely skip the hot pink lips, and go for a more subtle baby pink lips or just a gloss. but keep it on the pink side so it ties up with your cheeks & eyes.

Products I have used

1-L'Oreal Studio Secrets Anti-dull skin primer in medium (thank you Ayshe, my BF, for buying me another one of those)

2- Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer in no.4 Deep

3-MUFE high definition concealer in 340

4-Loose powder

5-VS Bronzer from their ultimate makeup kit (it's not too chocolaty of a bronzer, it's soft enough to blend pink on top of it)

6-Famous blush in shade 3 Country rose (which has a highlighter too)
I am so in love with this blush, it is so pigmented and lasts ages even if you apply it straight to your pretty face
the highlighter is fab. too it really brings out the pink of the blush

7- Maybelline Color sensational no 175 Pink punch (this is sooooooo my new Favorite lip colour)
look at the colour goodness, I LOVE IT, HOT!

8-Benefit moon been highlighter

9-Arch De Triumph (only used the highlighter part of the pen inside my water line)
Note: I find the Arch De Triumph brow and highlighter pencil duo very good to use in my water line (the white pencil part I mean) because it has a bit of a soft rose colour to the off white colour. it doesnt make it too harsh or scary inside my eyes.

for more review on this and other Soap & Glory products, please follow

I really hope you find this useful, give it a try and let me know how it was. you DO NOT HAVE TO USE ANYTHING I HAVE USED. the only thing that matters is the technique (the steps and stuff :D )

Makeup is fun, so make sure you are having fun. please don't go out buying everything I mention here, you can use anything similar that you have. even mix colors to get your desired shades.

I Heart Soap & Glory

.

Hello lovelies,  I want to talk about a product's range that am sooooo in love with. It's incredible. But first, let me thank all of my new beauties. It means a lot to me that you check my pages when you can :)

Now, Soap & Glory. A cosmetics company that has some of it's product made and tested in the UK or Switzerland. They are fairly not expensive (ranging from £ 5-14). They are sold in the UK because it's primarily and English product, but you can buy it online though. I love everything bout these cute and useful products. The packaging, the smell, the design and most importantly, the OUTCOME.

So far, everything I tried from these goodies, does exactly what it says.
Am going to list down the ones I bought & used and write down what I think of them.

Do you like magic? well I do.... when it comes to my face and hair :D
Let me introduce you to "YOU WON'T BELIEVE YOUR EYES".
Really say good bye to dark circles. This is magical at how it can take those nasties away. It really is an ILLUMINATING UNDER-EYE SERUM. I can't stop with the CAPS now, it's soooo goooooddddd!!

Simply, use it day and night. In the morning though, it could be a bit annoying to put concealer over it. It kind of drys under your eyes to a glossy rainbow colory texture thing! (see through layer, but has a bit of a colour when you move your head in the light). I don't know how to explain it, but my advise would be to use it 1st thing in the morning with your face routine. Allow it time to soak in your skin. Then just whip it off with a makeup remover 45 minutes later.  For me, I  have plenty of time before I put makeup in the morning. So when I remove the rest of the product, the goodness has already been absorbed in :D Otherwise, your all good.
Oh, you will notice a difference after 7-9 days :D
magic in a tube <3

My second favorite product is ....... Actually, I can't rank them from best to least favorite.
I LOVE them all equally. Am just going to write about them as they pop in my head.

I have combination skin, and I live in a very hot & humid country (Egypt). In the summer times, it is horrifying for me to put makeup. It either will melt or shine like a 1000W light bulb. Any cream make me sweat my face skin off. Yes, it's that bad.

Until I tried "Clear Here" daily moisture lotion. For all you combo/oily skinned. Shine awaaaaaayyy, just use it morning and night (I do prefer a slightly richer cream at night though, but you can definitely use it day & nigh) after you cleanse.
Your face will instantly feel moisturized, tight and dry.it's such a good base for makeup too:D it's amazing, just the right amount of moisture without the heavy feeling. It promises tighter pores and a t-zone oil control. It doesn't necessarily keep your face 100 shine free, but it's a HUGE difference from other creams. Feels so fresh and Minty. (I wouldn't use it in the winter though because my face turn dry in the cold).

Since we are talking about face creams, let me tell you bout two more amazing products.

The "Make Yourself Youthful" face rejuvenating serum.
I love this because it feels moisturizing even on it's own. I've tried some serums before, and they can be a bit drying & you really have to put face cream after. This is true, it is the case with all serums. But am just saying that with this one, you don't even have too. It feels so soft on your face. You can so feel the difference shortly. It gave my face a very radiant glow. It's like having a new youthful looking skin. Again on the package, it's recommended to use day and night. Wait about 10-15 minutes before you apply your face cream.

The second product would be the "Glow Job". Hahahhahaha,
Don't you just love those names?
It does what it says, it's a face cream that has little bronzed micro bead. Those bronzing pearls come out as you squeeze, you then have to squish them between your fingers to get them to mix their color in the cream. Then put it on your pretty face. This is not a tinted moisturizer. Its kind of the same idea but with less coverage. It just give a nice color and a very nice, healthy glow to your face. It smells so fabulous too.

Moving on to a hair conditioning mask. This one is called the "Hair Supply".
I can't remember much bout it as I bought & used it a while ago. But I can tell you for sure I was impressed by how soft & bouncy it made my hair. I think I should have mentioned this one in my "101 to dull hair" post. http://berry-pink-diamonds.blogspot.com/2011/08/101-to-dry-dull-lifeless-hair.html
It didn't feel heavy in my hair and was very easy to wash it off without leaving any greasy feel after.

What else, what else, mmmmmmm Oh my,
How could I forget.....................
IT ISSSSS "The Firminator"??!!
This is it, the answer to all your prayers, all your worries about cellulite. Yep, those nasty little bump on your tights, bum, tummy, back of your arms, anywhere you could find them. This is it. 1 week using this, and your legs will look straighter, smoother and will feel waaaaay softer. Just closely examine the area you want to use this product on before and after a week examine it closely again. Smoothed out bumps! Believe me, believe me, yes please do believe me.
It's better than many other expensive products and it's about £11. Best money EVER spent.

Now the next product I haven't personnally used, but my sister does all the time. Hi sis! It's called "Bright Here, Bright Now".  She swear at how moisturizing it is. And it did bright up her face. I can see that it is visibly lighter/brighter. It can be a bit heavy in the hot weather though. But once it dries on your face, there should be no problem. This sure will make your face more fair.

Suffer from dry skin no more! The buttery feel & smell of the "Righteous Butter" body butter will leave your skin so incredibly buttery.  I feel like am making a commercial here, haha. It's amazingly moisturizing especially for those cold winter nights.
I wouldn't use a body butter in the summer as it would feel so heavy for me. The one I have is out, this sure is on my next shopping list.

Finally, the "Arch De Triumph" eyebrow and highlighted pencil.  The highlighter is waaaaaay better than the brow side. I love using it under my brow, it gives a nice clean not shimmery highlighted/lifted brow look. I even use it in my water line sometimes as it's very creamy and doest give me a scary look when I use it inside my eyes. Thats because it has pinkish undertones to it.

As for the brow pencil part, am now saying it's bad, it's good but it can get dry in cold weather and then you have to drag and scratch across our eyebrows to draw them. You shouldn't do that because it hurts, and it will make you brows' hair fall off. Use it in the summer times more,or just heat it slightly from far away with a lighter.

That's all girls. I know for sure that I will try more Soap & Glory products soon. Please let me know if you have tired anything from this cosmetics range. And of course, let me know if you decide to give them a try.
I would love to hear about good results.

May you all have young beautyfull faces forever ;)

 Yours truly,

I love you sexy fingertips ;)

Heya Beauties,

How are you girls and how are your nails? Not in a good shape? Feeling weak & brittle? Are they yellow & stained from a lot of nail colouring?

The solution to all this is very simple, and it goes like this: Garlic, Lemons & Olive oil.

I am sure that many of you have heard about the benefits of Garlic and how it helps whitening your nails & make them stronger.

Quick Fix: chop a clove of garlic, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE JUICE OUT CHOP THEM GENTLY :P, and then drop them into a clear nail polish. Leave the polish with the garlic for 2 days, after that, your old regular nail polish becomes a strengthening solution. The next morning, you can start using it as you normally would.

Lemons contain vitamins and minerals such as; Vitamin B, A, phosphorus, copper, iron, calcium, potassium and antioxidants. They are great for to strengthening your nails.

Quick Fix: Rub ½ a lemon into your nails for a few minutes daily.  Wash your hands about 5 to 10 minutes after you have finished.  This is a very effective way of dealing with weak, soft nails.

As for the Olive Oil, it keeps them moisturized, shinny, helps build strong fingernails and softens the cuticles. Keeping the moisture in your nails is very important as it’s one of the factors that, if maintained right, will prevent your nails from breaking and chipping :)

Quick Fix: Warm a small dish of olive oil (DO NOT HEAT IT OR IT LOSES IT’S BENEFITS) with a tablespoon of lemon juice. Soak nails for 5- 10 minutes. This softens cuticles while it strengthens nails.

Do you want the COMBO?
I have used these three ingredients over the years, and whenever I kind of get lazy and stop using the for a while, my nails break :(
This method is time saving and it COMBO-ines :P the benefits of the three all together.

What I like to do while am sitting watching TV is to: chop  ½  a garlic clove and I keep on rubbing it on my nails till the garlic has no more juice in it to rub on my nails ! I then leave it to dry for 10 min.

After that I grab ½ a lemon & I rub it on my nails directly on top of the garlic. Again, keep on rubbing it till the juice of the lemon runs out! Leave on for about 5 min until dry on your nails. Note: the lemons will help take away the garlic smell.

Then, grab some extra virgin olive oil (the extra virgin means that it has been cold pressed, i.e. it still has all its benefits) and rub it on your nails & cuticles, also above the lemons & garlic. Leave on for 5 min. Then wash with water and a nice scented soap.

Now for extra care and softness, apply some more olive oil to your nails & cuticles. Slowly push back the cuticles. Leave it on your nails for as long as you can. Leave it to completely dry if its possible. Only use a few drops so they would dry easily. You can also apply some on your hands to moisturise them.

Finally, apply 2 coats of your favourite top coat/nail hardener, and Voila.
You are done lovelies,

Quick Fix: Don't have a hand moisturiser? no problem,  just mix 3 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil and squeeze on them two Vitamin E capsules (can be bought at any pharmacy), mix it well with a clean something :D and keep in a container for everyday use.
Don't like to keep olive oil on your hands for long? Again, No problem, mix the Vitamin E capsules with some of your favorite body lotion. And Ta-Daaa

Must know for nails:
  • The sun can weaken & break your nails, make sure your sun block is rubbed on your nails as well.
  • house chores & using alot of water with bare hands is damaging to your nails & hands too. use rubber gloves when cleaning around or making the dishes.
  • drink plenty of water, if your body is dehydrated, your nails will break (so as for your hair and your skin will look dull)
  • Food rich in potassium, iron, calcium and vitamin B are especially good for your nails. Almonds, garlic, spinach celery, yogurt, eggs and seafood are good for your nails.
  • Always moisturize your hands, nails & cuticles. keep some hand cream next to your bed and apply it every night before your sleep. you will notice the difference in a week or so.
  • Don't peel your old nail polish and don't pick on your nails and chew on your cuticles; this is really bad for the health of your nails.
  • take some Multi-vitamins, they really help. But take them regularly in the morning after breakfast so you notice the difference.
Did you know?
A healthy fingernail takes about six months to grow out completely and Men's nails generally grow faster than women's :S WHYYYY??? They don't need them :S :S :S

PLEASE, my comments’ section feels so lonely :( tell me anything you want there
Have a sexy, bright, strong days :D
